The Legislative Committee identifies any pending legislative action items with relevance to the LGBT Law Section throughout the legislative sessions, and works within the rules for SBOT Sections to further the interests of the LGBT community.
What We Do?
The LGBT Law Section's main purposes are to promote the study and discussion of legislation, court decisions, and government regulations that affect the LGBT community and persons who are living with HIV, and to facilitate communication and advocacy for fair and equal treatment under the law for members of our community.
How Can I Get Involved?
All of our Committees as coordinated by volunteers from the the Section Council and volunteers from our Section Members. To be an active part of your LGBT Law Section, please review the Committee descriptions on this page and contact the Section if you can help with a Committee or project.
